Shiraz Viognier 2002
A moderate year with good, progressive ripening.
Fruit was picked in excellent condition between March 22 and April 6.
The first vintage to incorporate fruit from the new, adjoining, north-east facing T&L vineyard. 6% Viognier, 30% whole bunches.
Average of two weeks on skins including 2 – 4 days pre-ferment maceration. 12 months in oak, one third new Sirugue, Francois Freres and Bossuet barrels.
