From the warm, low yielding 2024 vintage, the Euroka Park parcel stood out in our barrel tastings as wonderfully aromatic and beautifully textured, a distinctive example of Shiraz Viognier worthy of release as a single parcel.

It was made with 22% whole bunches and 5.5% Viognier included in the ferment. Hand plunged twice daily, the fruit spent three weeks on skins before being pressed and run into French oak.

After twelve months most of the parcel was blended into our beautiful 2024 Shiraz Viognier.

We kept just 500 litres separate, a single one-year-old Taransaud puncheon, and bottled it after a further eight months in wood.

Impressive as it is now, it can be cellared with confidence for 20 years.

Only two bottles available per customer.

…a cracking wine…ultra fine-grained, and so beautifully aromatic. It’s a star in the making.

...spice and blackberry conserve aromas with a whiff of apricot viognier, and some stemmy whole-bunchy nuances. Very good flavour intensity and balance, ripeness is spot-on.

The Real Review

A wine of the most imperious elegance and refinement, it finishes with the silkiest of tannins and immense length. A fifteen-year proposition.
