Announced in London on Feb 10, 2025: The 2022 Clonakilla Shiraz Viognier has won Best First Class Red for Qantas in the prestigious Cellars in the Sky Competition.
Cellars in the Sky is a hotly contested annual competition sponsored by the UK’s Business Traveller magazine. Thirty-Two international airlines submitted wines from their First and Business Class lists in the hope of taking out the top awards.

It comes on the back of the 2022 Hilltops Shiraz winning Best Business Class Red for Qantas in last year’s competition.
The judges described the award winning 2022 Clonakilla Shiraz Viognier as having “Generous aromas of ripe red berries, roses, violets, and layers of spice, with plush tannins and ripe fruit flavours on the palate”
Needless to say, the whole team at Clonakilla is thrilled with this news!
