The soil here is rich in red clay overlying decomposed volcanic rock. The slope is angled perfectly to the North-East, catching the sun from the moment it rises.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e2024 was low yielding vintage, with October frost severely affecting fruit production on the lower slopes. In the higher vines that escaped the frost a warm growing season produced striking fruit intensity and perfect ripeness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGently destemmed whole berries are fermented warm by their own native yeasts.
