Clonakilla is a family winery, established in 1971. Our wines draw their character from the granite soils and cool, continental climate of the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales.
After the smoke-ravaged 2020 vintage the 2021 season came as a blessing with regular falls of rain and cool conditions prevailing. The long ripening window has given us fine, detailed fruit characters and enabled plenty of fresh natural acid retention in the wines.

Barrel fermented with a year on lees in French 500L puncheons, Viognier makes a wonderfully distinctive wine. Apricot kernel, musk and ginger aromas and a silky textured palate.
