2020 Mornington Pinot Noir

In 2020 we suffered the catastrophe of losing our entire crop to smoke taint, a consequence of severe drought and the worst bushfire season in living memory. Generous friends came to our rescue with clean fruit from regions outside New South Wales. 

The fruit for this Pinot came to us through the generosity of the Kirby family of Yabby Lake Vineyard in the Mornington Peninsula 

30% whole bunches, two weeks on skins then maturation in tight grain French oak puncheons
